Hello! My name is Artem, I am 32 years old digital artist from Ukraine
based in Romania. I prefer to work remotely, considering both contract
job and permanent employment. My main areas of interest are
backgrounds for games/videos and concept art.
I was creating concepts for environments and props, painted from the
scratch backgrounds and elements for them, prepared pictures for
animation.
For this project, I painted the ocean, the beach and the rocks, and
overpainted a lighthouse already existed as a raw 3D render. The trees
already existed too as assets, but I used to modify them to fit the
environment.
On these pictures, I used to paint most of the buildings,
sometimes vehicles, propses, trees and other elements of the
environment. I used AI to work on the sketches and vector tools to
refine images. Some of the propses on these images were created by
other artists – cars, food tables and chairs, palm trees, yachts.
Some of the objects I created for the same project. Usually I also
prepared them for animation.
Skills
I have strong hand-drawing skills.
Proficiency with Adobe Photoshop and other applications for painting;
ability to learn new applications and/or new pipelines.
Proficiency with Autodesk Maya, 3D-Coat, Redshift and minor
applications for 3D modeling / sketching in 3D. Experienced with AI.
Languages: Ukrainian, English, Romanian, Russian.
