CREATIVE WORKS

Implementation of a project on socially adaptive support for young people The project included:- classes with
students and schoolchildren;- informal conversations accompanied by music between participants and coffee
breaks;- surveys of group members about their personal impressions.
At the beginning of the class, energising exercises were conducted to engage everyone, and at the end, there was a
general reflection. Groups of participants in social adaptation classes:- drew personal mantras;- sent letters with
wishes to other participants;- decorated gingerbread cookies;- made a dragon out of foam;- played the conversation
game ‘Sell if you can’;- worked with metaphorical associative cards;- made a personal ‘Wish Card’;- developed new
designs for items to paint later.
The ‘Hut of Peace’ project was aimed at reducing anxiety and providing social and adaptive support to young people
during communication.In conclusion, it can be emphasised that after each session, the members of the ‘Positive’
team still receive feedback and thanks from the participants, as well as requests for further meetings.The ‘Hut of
Peace’ project showed that there is a constant need for such events among Kharkiv youth, who need live
communication, which has decreased due to COVID and the full-scale invasion.
