DUCT AIR TREATMENT – INSTALLATION GUIDE
Installation guide
1. Clean all condensate trays and coils prior to use of Duct Air Treatment
2. Holding the bag upright, remove Duct Air Treatment from the aluminium bag
3. Leave the cloth wrap on the product.
4. Tighten the drawstring
5. Place as close to the evaporator coils as possible. It must be located in a moving air stream:
o Position preferably upstream of the evaporator coil
o Avoid placing directly in the path of outside make-up air
6. Place Duct Air Treatment so that:
o The rounded surface is exposed to the moving air stream
o The large flat surface is face down, or protected as much as possible from air movement
o If required, Duct Air Treatment can be suspended on a return air grill, an air filter, or across
the face of the evaporator coil
7. Tie down the Duct Air Treatment, using the string on the wrap to ensure it cannot be moved from the
placement position
8. Keep the air conditioning running at all times as this will maximise both the deodorising and cleaning
benefits
Replace the gel disc at least every 30 days. Duct Air Treatment releases 10-45 micrograms of tea tree oil
per cubic metre of air.
