Personal statement

I am a professional, qualified and experienced English teacher and writer with passion for both the English language and teaching.

In class, I prefer the communicative method of teaching English as the most progressive method nowadays. That means I prefer immersing students into an English-speaking environment by simulating real life situations, which, in turn, are called for encouraging students to actively use the language.

I like to conduct my lessons in a positive vein using authentic quality educational materials on the basis of Oxford, Cambridge and National Geographic Learning publishing, as well as interesting and creative tasks taken from the ESL online sources.

I believe that the keystone to success is a constant desire to move forward; therefor I never rest on my laurels. I always work on diversifying and improving my classes attending teaching seminars and webinars.

I am also a professional and experienced writer of articles on different topics. I am really passionate about writing, as it brings me a lot of pleasure. I am mostly concerned with writing SEO articles on diverse topics and doing English-Russian, Russian-English translations. I always do my best to write effective texts which are able not only to arouse readers' interest, but also to draw search engine traffic.
