I got this Job as a summer job in order to gain some experience in managing a company.
Some of my duties at this company was to answer calls of customers and create a profile for them based
on what their complaints are.
some customers need a handyman, gutter washing services, power washing services.
I would need also need to use goole street view to search the house and create an online estimate for the
customers.
I would also need to contact the handyman to take the job, check on his availability and also get
information about the customers availability
Once the Job is also completed, i would also need to charge the customers and take their payment details

During my work experience I was faced
with duties such as independently going around seeing what racks were missing certain items and
ensuring that they were put in place as well as organizing clothing etc. This helped me develop

At DSV, my role is to ensure orders from customers are scanned, packed and delivered in the right
conditions. I usually work at the end control station- Here, i receive orders from the pickers who have
carefully picked up the different bits and pieces from the warehouse and my job is to scan the items in
order to get them checked out from the system and repackage them into one box in order to reduce the
number of boxes the customer receives. I also print out the shipment stickers as well as packing slips.
The orders are thereafter sorted out by shipping company, for example DHL, Amazon, Ups etc
I have to stack pallets and ensure that the orders are taken into the correct delivery truck. At the end of the
day i also ensure that the working stations are neat and tidy

VOLUNTEERING

Great London walk

I have volunteered with the Great London walk - which is a charity that
helps elderly homeless individuals. This has helped me realize that there is more to life than just what
we see, and that the ability to help others is a gift. I met different individuals who had been through
physiotherapy, and had a new outlook on life due learning about to their experiences with
treatment/rehabilitation.
