◦ Establishing lines of communication with national security providers/focal points and international security players operating in the AoR in order to ensure maximum security coordination and information sharing;
◦ Collecting, assessing and communicating information regarding the security situation in the MT AoR to the MT staff and to HO;
◦ Responding to security incidents in the MT AoR, handling the situation on the spot and follows the cases with local law enforcement authorities (when applicable) until they are closed;
◦ Maintaining contact with physical security providers for SMM, supervises the activities of Security Guard (SG) and evaluates their performance;
◦ Assisting in conducting regular appropriate exercises (such as fire and evacuation drills, communication tests) to ensure staff preparedness for eventual emergencies;
