Remote Legal Assistant

About Us: DS Law Firm is a boutique law firm in the Atlanta, Georgia area (USA) practicing community association law: we represent homeowners' and condominium associations in assessment collections and litigation. We are a small team, and our remote paralegals are central to how we work. We train you on our process and our documents. What we cannot train is care, honesty and initiative, and that is what we hire for.

Position: Legal Assistant (Remote)

Responsibilities:

• Draft and review legal documents.
• Ability to communicate effectively via phone with defendants, court personnel, and the sheriff’s office.
• Organize case files and track deadlines.
• Communicate with clients and attorneys.
• Provide support for litigation tasks.
• Billing and invoicing

Requirements:

• Fluent in English (writing and speaking).
• Detail-oriented and self-motivated.

Preferred:

• Legal assistant experience or familiarity with litigation is a plus.
• Accounting experience is a plus
