Job Title: Claims specialist (Full-Time, Remote — PST Time Zone)

Company Overview: A California-based logistics company Car Hauling is seeking a dedicated Safety Manager/Claims with strong written and spoken English skills to ensure compliance, promote a safety-first culture, and support operational excellence.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a safety role with U.S.-based logistics companies.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Work Conditions:

• Fully remote position.
• Must be available to work within the Pacific Time Zone (PST).

Key Responsibilities:

• Thoroughly investigate vehicle damage claims by reviewing Bill of Lading (BOL) reports, marked-off damages, pickup and delivery photos, inspection records, and other available documentation to determine whether damage was pre-existing or occurred during transportation.
• Analyze and compare evidence carefully, using practical knowledge of car-hauling operations and sound judgment to determine whether reported damage could reasonably have occurred during loading, unloading, or transportation.
• Communicate directly with drivers and other parties involved in claims to obtain their account of incidents, clarify details, gather supporting information, and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare clear, professional, and well-written emails and claim correspondence when communicating with drivers, customers, management, insurance representatives, and other parties.
• Maintain accurate and organized claim records, including photos of pre-existing damage, BOLs, inspection reports, driver statements, correspondence, and other supporting documentation.
• Track claims through resolution and prepare clear summaries of findings, documenting the evidence reviewed, investigation results, and outcome of each claim.
