Job description

POSITION OVERVIEW

We are looking for a Warranty Specialist with proven experience in automotive warranty administration to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing, validating, and processing warranty claims while ensuring compliance with OEM warranty policies and maximizing reimbursement opportunities for dealership clients.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 3+ years of experience in automotive warranty administration or warranty claims processing.
  • Experience working with automotive dealerships or warranty processing providers.
  • Strong understanding of OEM warranty policies, labor operations, repair orders, and dealership service processes.
  • Experience using Dealer Management Systems (CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds, Dealertrack, Tekion, or similar).
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize workload and manage multiple claims in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Comfortable learning proprietary software and using Google Workspace, Jira, and related tools.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Review, validate, and process automotive warranty claims in accordance with OEM policies and procedures.
  • Analyze repair orders, labor operations, warranty coverage, and supporting documentation to ensure claim accuracy.
  • Identify opportunities to maximize warranty reimbursement by applying OEM labor operation guidelines and warranty rules.
  • Submit, monitor, and reconcile warranty claims, resolving rejected or pending claims with clients and manufacturers.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of all warranty activities, approvals, adjustments, and claim resolutions.
  • Manage warranty receivables and ensure timely reconciliation of payments from OEMs.
  • Communicate with dealership personnel and internal teams to obtain missing documentation and resolve claim-related issues.
  • Stay current with OEM warranty programs, technical service bulletins (TSBs), recalls, and industry best practices.
  • Contribute to process improvements by identifying recurring claim issues and sharing recommendations with cross-functional teams.
