Fairmount Global Freight LLC is a U.S.-based expedited transportation company operating Hot Shot and Sprinter Van divisions. We are looking for an experienced Recruiting Lead who will personally recruit drivers and staff, train and manage a small recruiting team, and deliver measurable hiring and retention results.

Only candidates with 2+ years of proven recruiting experience in U.S. trucking / logistics will be considered.

What You Will Do

• Personally recruit Hot Shot and Sprinter Van drivers and owner-operators, as well as dispatchers, Safety/Compliance personnel, and back-office staff.
• Lead, train, and support a small team of recruiters; set daily and monthly KPIs and track performance.
• Own the driver recruiting pipeline from sourcing through onboarding, including job boards, ATS, screening, MVR/PSP checks, and driver qualification.
• Work closely with Safety/Compliance to keep Driver Qualification (DQ) files complete and compliant with applicable FMCSA/DOT requirements.
• Prepare and manage contractor and owner-operator documentation, including lease agreements and 1099 onboarding.
• Improve onboarding and retention processes and track driver turnover.
• Handle candidate and driver relations issues and negotiations.
• Report hiring results, recruiter performance, and pipeline status to company ownership on a weekly basis.

Requirements

• 3+ years of recruiting experience, including at least 2 years in U.S. trucking / logistics / transportation.
• Proven track record recruiting U.S. drivers and owner-operators, with measurable results.
• Experience training, mentoring, or leading other recruiters.
• Working knowledge of DQ files, MVR/PSP, FMCSA/DOT basics, and applicable Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse procedures.
• Understanding of the difference between 1099 owner-operators and W-2 company drivers.
• Strong spoken English for daily calls with U.S. drivers.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently, identify problems, and propose practical solutions.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Hot Shot and/or Sprinter Van operations.
• Experience recruiting both CDL and non-CDL drivers.
• Experience with Tenstreet, DriverReach, or similar ATS platforms.
• Spanish language skills.

Compensation

• $1,300/month base + performance-based bonuses for hires and retention.
• Final compensation is negotiable based on experience and proven results.
• Engagement as a Ukrainian sole proprietor (FOP).
