Seeking a dispatcher for an exciting opportunity in our expediting department.

Qualifications:

• English on a level Intermediate
• Ability to learn new concepts
• Motivated personality
• Strong communication skills
• Positive / Professional attitude
• Attention to details with solid organizational skills
• Confidence to negotiate rates
• Microsoft Word and Excel
• Effective strong communicator
• Attention to details and organization
• Experience working in an office performing common office tasks answering phones, emailing)

Responsibilities:

• Quote routes and schedule drivers for local and national routes
• Dispatch drivers with accurate orders for pick-up and delivery
• Be current in finding and negotiating the best loads and updating dispatch boards
• Maintain quality relationships with brokers, customers, and drivers
• Develop new customer and broker relationships
• Lead drivers and monitor the route, updating status as needed
