Менеджер з закупівель (Buying Professional)

Our client — a world-leading manufacturer of cleaning and clearing vehicles is looking for a Buying Professional.

Purpose:

• Secure on-time delivery of components and services for the company production sites

Professional background:

• Experienced (3−5 years) in working with supply chain and suppliers in a production environment.
• Have a global mindset.

Education and skills:

• Relevant education within purchase/sourcing area, Supply Chain, or Operations Management.
• Ability to work with limited supervision, being proactive yet work collaboratively within a team.
• Ability to multitask as well as have a systematic and structured approach to work and thereby solve problems in a fast-paced work environment.
• Open minded, collaborative and team driven.

Language and IT skills:

• High level English (Business) in both oral and writing.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Office applications, particularly Excel and Power Point.
• Knowledge of Dynamics 365.

Qualifications:

• Strong focus on collaboration and cross functional teamwork
• Structured and self-motivated.
• Able to see and understand the full Value Chain from E2E.
• High drive and can work independently while making high importance to cooperation with closest colleagues, suppliers as well as across the value chain (stakeholder management).

Responsibilities:

• Processing of daily purchase requests in compliance with the company procurement rules
• Manage purchase orders including tracking, checking of content, ensuring cost-efficient and on-time supply of materials according to demand.
• Communicate to relevant stakeholders any delivery/supply constraints according to plans.
• Daily and proactive contact with your customer (WH/Production).
• Participate in production/WH meetings/Lean meetings when necessary.
• By use of our ERP system, analyze material availability, maintain & update supplier master data (lead time) in the ERP system.
• Escalation to Strategic Purchase regarding supplier performance issues related to On-time delivery, master data issues (commercial), quality etc.
• In collaboration with your colleagues, secure best-in class processes and procedures in order to achieve most efficient flow in operational procurement.
• Drive and take ownership of own data related to Visual Factory meetings/reporting.
• Participate and support Strategic Purchase in the Supplier Relationship Management process to secure suppliers are an asset supporting TLC and innovation i.e; Cost out YoY, increased payment terms and cooperation.
• Understand the content of Purchase Agreements (PA's) on own suppliers and thereby support Strategic Purchase in any cost recovery related to supplier non-performance
• Secure proactive risk management, identifying risks and proactively suggest activities to secure production.
