Role Description

This is a part-time remote role for a Senior BigCommerce App Developer with at least 5 years of experience. As a Senior BigCommerce App Developer, your main responsibility will be to develop and maintain BigCommerce applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand client requirements and deliver high-quality solutions. This role requires strong technical skills in BigCommerce app development and a deep understanding of eCommerce best practices.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in BigCommerce app development
• Proficient in programming languages such as PHP, JavaScript, and Ruby on Rails
• Experience in developing custom modules and plugins for eCommerce sites
• Strong understanding of eCommerce platforms like BigCommerce, Prestashop, WP/WooCommerce, Magento, and Shopify
• Knowledge of web technologies such as Symfony, Laravel, Yii, jQuery, NodeJS, and ReactJS
• Ability to convert PSD designs into custom store themes
• Familiarity with SEO best practices for optimizing store performance and driving relevant traffic
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
