Job Description

We’re looking for a talented Unity Plugin Developer to join our team! Your focus will be on creating custom Unity Editor plugins and networking solutions. If you’re passionate about Unity, enjoy solving problems, and have a knack for backend integration, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain gameplay systems;
Prototype and code new gameplay features;
Optimize and do bug-fixing of existing gameplay systems;
Take part in the design process of the gameplay;
Ensure that the systems are well-designed and optimal in terms of CPU and memory consumption;
Creating templates of various code repositories for reusability;
Create and execute long-term development plans and technical documentation
Follow best practices, development processes, documentation, and coding standards.

Requirements

2+ years of experience in Unity development, including custom plugin development for the Unity Editor;
Proficiency in C# and .NET, with experience in Unity Editor scripting and tools;
Strong understanding of Unity’s APIs, data structures, and asset pipeline;
Experience in backend integration, including authentication, API requests, and other communication systems;
Able to work in a collaborative and distributed development environment;
Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills;
Great communication skills;
Upper-Intermediate English.

Desirable

Familiarity with web3 technologies and blockchain integration in Unity;
Experience implementing game networking solutions like multiplayer functionality, real-time communication, and network synchronisation;
Knowledge of other game engines or development tools, such as Unreal Engine or Godot.
