We’re looking for a Social Media Manager to strengthen our Marketing Team and help us grow and prosper!
Location: Ukraine preferred, fully remote. Engagement: full-time.
Areas of Responsibility:
Social Media Strategy & Execution:
- Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies aligned with campaign themes;
- Manage daily posting schedules across LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, X, YouTube, and Reddit with platform-specific optimization;
- Create social media content calendar coordinating with Content Manager, Video Editor, and Paid Media Manager;
- Adapt long-form content (blogs, whitepapers, case studies, videos) into engaging social posts tailored to each platform;
- Develop platform-specific content strategies recognizing the unique audience and engagement patterns of each channel;
- Plan and execute social media campaigns supporting launches, events, and lead generation initiatives.
Platform-Specific Management:
LinkedIn (Primary B2B Channel — 40% of effort):
- Post daily content targeting CTOs, CIOs, VPs of Engineering, and IT decision-makers;
- Create carousel posts (5−8 slides), document posts, video posts, and standard image/text posts;
- Share thought leadership articles, technical insights, case studies, and client success stories;
- Engage with industry leaders, comment on relevant posts, and build executive network;
- Manage LinkedIn Company Page and optimize for follower growth and engagement;
- Monitor LinkedIn analytics and optimize posting times, formats, and messaging.
YouTube (Video Platform — 20% of effort):
- Upload and optimize video content from Video Editor including thumbnails, titles, descriptions, and tags;
- Create compelling video descriptions with timestamps, key takeaways, and CTAs;
- Manage playlists for video series (DevOps, FinOps, Agentic AI, Client Success);
- Respond to comments and foster community engagement;
- Optimize videos for search and suggested video algorithms;
- Create YouTube Shorts from longer video content for additional reach.
Instagram (Visual Storytelling — 15% of effort):
- Post visually engaging content including carousel posts, reels, and stories;
- Adapt technical content into visually digestible formats for broader audiences;
- Share behind-the-scenes content, team highlights, and company culture;
- Create Instagram Stories highlighting blog posts, events, and announcements;
- Use relevant hashtags and location tags to increase discoverability.
Facebook (Community Building — 10% of effort):
- Share company updates, blog posts, case studies, and industry news;
- Engage with relevant industry groups and communities;
- Post event photos, webinar recordings, and thought leadership content;
- Monitor page engagement and respond to comments and messages;
- Cross-promote content from other platforms when appropriate.
X/Twitter (Real-Time Engagement — 10% of effort):
- Share timely updates, industry news, and quick insights;
- Engage in relevant conversations around cloud, AWS, AI, and DevOps;
- Live-tweet from industry events, conferences, and AWS summits;
- Retweet and engage with AWS, industry influencers, and technology leaders;
- Use trending hashtags strategically to increase visibility.
Reddit (Technical Community — 5% of effort):
- Share valuable content in relevant subreddits (r/aws, r/devops, r/cloud, r/kubernetes, etc.);
- Participate authentically in technical discussions and Q&A;
- Follow platform guidelines and avoid overly promotional content;
- Build credibility through helpful, informative contributions;
- Monitor discussions for content opportunities and market insights.
Content Creation & Adaptation:
- Transform blog posts into carousel posts, infographics, and quote graphics;
- Extract key insights from whitepapers and case studies for social snippets;
- Create teaser content for gated assets and lead magnets;
- Write engaging captions, headlines, and calls-to-action for each platform;
- Develop branded templates for recurring content types;
- Coordinate with design team on visual assets, graphics, and branded imagery;
- Repurpose video content into short clips, GIFs, and highlight reels.
Community Management & Engagement:
- Monitor all social channels daily for comments, mentions, and messages;
- Respond promptly to questions, comments, and inquiries with helpful, on-brand messaging;
- Engage with followers, industry influencers, and potential clients;
- Build relationships with AWS community, technology leaders, and industry voices;
- Flag important conversations or sales opportunities to relevant teams;
- Moderate comments and maintain positive, professional community standards;
- Identify and engage with brand advocates and satisfied clients.
Analytics, Reporting & Optimization:
- Track social media KPIs: follower growth, engagement rate, reach, impressions, click-through rates, and lead generation;
- Deliver weekly and monthly performance reports with insights and recommendations;
- Analyze top-performing content and identify patterns for optimization;
- A/B test posting times, formats, headlines, and visual styles;
- Monitor competitor social media activity and industry benchmarks;
- Use platform analytics tools (LinkedIn Analytics, YouTube Analytics, Meta Business Suite) to inform strategy;
- Adjust content strategy based on performance data and audience feedback.
Event & Campaign Support:
- Promote events including AWS Summit Toronto, CDAO Canada, Agentic AI Summit, client entertainment events (Blue Jays, PWHL, NBO);
- Create pre-event, during-event, and post-event social content;
- Live-post from conferences, workshops, and company events;
- Coordinate event hashtags, handles, and tagging strategies;
- Support webinar promotion and registration drives;
- Amplify campaign launches and key marketing initiatives.
Required Qualifications:
- 2−3+ years of social media management experience in B2B technology, SaaS, or enterprise software;
- Proven track record managing LinkedIn as primary B2B channel with demonstrated follower growth and engagement;
- Expert knowledge of all major social platforms (LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, X, Reddit) and their best practices;
- Strong writing skills with ability to craft engaging, platform-appropriate copy;
- Experience creating and managing social media content calendars and posting schedules;
- Understanding of social media analytics and ability to translate data into actionable insights;
- Visual content creation skills with knowledge of Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools;
- Excellent communication skills and ability to represent brand voice authentically;
- Self-directed, organized, and able to manage multiple platforms simultaneously;
- Strong written and verbal communication skills (English required; French is a plus).
Nice to Have:
- Experience in cloud computing, AWS, DevOps, or technical B2B social media marketing;
- Background managing social media for regulated industries (healthcare, financial services);
- Proficiency with social media management tools (Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social, or similar);
- Familiarity with AI/ML, cloud architecture, or enterprise technology concepts;
- Video editing skills for creating short-form social video content;
- Experience using Hubspot or similar platforms;
- Community management experience in technical or developer communities;
- Understanding of SEO and how social media supports organic search;
- Knowledge of social media advertising platforms and targeting strategies;
- Certifications in social media marketing or platform-specific credentials (LinkedIn Marketing Labs, Meta Blueprint).
