Middle Legal Counsel

Please note: This position requires working on a hybrid schedule in Kyiv. Requirements:

• Hold a Master’s Degree in Law;
• 2+ years of relevant experience as in-house lawyer (IT/gaming/betting sectors);
• Good knowledge of contract law and civil law in general, including private international law (UK/EU/UA);
• Strong analytical skills;
• Ability to be adaptable and flexible;
• Knowledge of international legislation on corporate, tax matters, and intellectual property;
• Experience in conducting due diligence (CDD, KYC/KYB, AML);
• Experience in dealing with government and regulatory authorities;
• B2 — C2 English.

Responsibilities:

• Review, draft, and negotiate contracts/agreements with clients, vendors, and partners, ensuring that all legal requirements are met and risks are mitigated;
• Legal support for the development of the company’s products and processes; performing legal research and preparing relevant reports;
• Supporting day-to-day legal activities and operations;
• Fulfillment of other legal tasks and assignments arising in course of business, both in the international sphere and in Ukraine;
• Conduct/support KYB/KYC processes and due diligence, including the preparation of necessary forms;
• Reporting and receiving instructions from the head of the department.
