Job Title: Accountant / Bookkeeper (Full-Time, Remote)

Job Description: Alvic Property Management is seeking a full-time Accountant / Bookkeeper to join our team remotely. The ideal candidate will be responsible, detail-oriented, and proactive, with experience managing financial records and overseeing bookkeeping operations. This role requires working during evening hours aligned with EST (New York time).

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting tasks
• Oversee and coordinate work of other bookkeepers
• Maintain accurate financial records and reports
• Handle accounts payable/receivable
• Perform bank and account reconciliations
• Support financial operations related to property management

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an accountant or bookkeeper
• Proficiency in QuickBooks (required)
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to manage and supervise bookkeeping tasks
• Must be reliable, responsible, and detail-oriented
• Comfortable working evening hours in EST (New York time)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with NYC property management accounting
• Familiarity with property management systems/software
