Afterhours Dispatcher, Night shift operator (USA market)

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a similar position is a strong advantage.
• Advanced English — confident verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient use of Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, etc.)
• Goal-oriented, self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills, ability to build rapport easily; sales background is a plus.
• Willingness to work night shifts — working hours: 8:00 AM-4:00 PM or 12:00 AM-8:00 AM Kyiv time (8-hour shifts aligned with the US time zone)
• Strong multitasking skills — multiple tasks and situations may arise simultaneously, so it’s essential to stay organized and handle everything efficiently.
• High level of responsibility and attention to detail — it’s important not only to react quickly, but to keep track of every agreement and task without missing anything.
• Ability to work remotely after completing the onboarding period (1−2 weeks of initial training but if expirienced can be faster)
• Must be able to work autonomously during power or internet outages — including access to a backup power source (generator/power bank) and mobile internet (personal hotspot or cellular data plan).

Responsibilities:

• Managing driver capacity and coordinating dispatch operations during after-hours shifts
• Communicate with drivers and brokers regarding active loads
• Provide financial assistance to the drivers during shift (lumpers/late fees, etc.)
• Monitor load progress and driver updates
• Review and approve load documentation before drivers depart
• Update TMS and Excel spreadsheet with all load updates/issues
