Podcast Post-Production Editor (Audio + Video)

Saspod is looking for a skilled podcast post-production editor to join our team on a long-term freelance basis.

We produce business, creator, and authority-driven podcasts distributed across YouTube, Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and social media platforms.

This role combines both video editing and audio awareness. We are not looking for someone who only edits visuals. The ideal candidate understands conversational pacing, dialogue clarity, remote recording challenges, and how audio and video work together to create a professional podcast experience.

Responsibilities

• Editing long-form podcast episodes
• Multi-camera podcast editing
• Syncing and organizing audio/video timelines
• Improving pacing and conversational flow
• Basic audio cleanup and balancing
• Exporting and organizing final deliverables
• Creating short-form clips and reels
• Following established workflows and file structures
• Handling revisions and feedback professionally

Ideal Candidate

• Strong understanding of both video editing and podcast audio
• Experience editing long-form conversational content
• Good instinct for pacing, dialogue flow, and viewer retention
• Able to make independent editorial decisions without constant supervision
• Organized and reliable with file management and delivery
• Comfortable handling recurring weekly production workflows
• Professional and clear communicator
• Able to follow systems while also identifying issues proactively

This role is best suited for someone who enjoys long-form content and understands that podcast editing is different from fast-paced social media editing.

We value reliability, consistency, and good judgment just as much as technical editing skill.
