Senior Credit Risk Manager (SQL, Python, B2B Lending)

Aventus Group is an international fintech group with 15+ years of experience building and scaling lending businesses across multiple markets.

We are looking for a hands-on Senior Credit Risk Manager to help build and scale ourB2B lending risk function across Poland and South Africa, with future expansion into additional markets.

This is not a traditional managerial role. We are looking for someone who combines deep lending expertise with strong analytical and technical capabilities and is comfortable building risk processes, decision strategies, and analytical frameworks from the ground up.

🔍Key Responsibilities

• Develop and improve B2B lending underwriting and risk frameworks
• Build and optimize credit decision strategies and approval processes
• Design, monitor, and improve scoring models and decision logic
• Analyze portfolio performance, defaults, collections, and lending economics
• Perform hands-on risk analytics using SQL and Python
• Drive automation and optimization of risk processes
• Work closely with product, operations, business, and data teams
• Support new market launches and new lending products
• Participate in building and leading the future risk and analytics team

✅ Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in credit risk, lending analytics, underwriting, scoring, or risk strategy
• Strong experience within fintech, lending, factoring, leasing, BNPL, embedded finance, or banking
• Hands-on experience with credit scoring models, decision engines, and portfolio analytics
• Strong SQL skills (must-have)
• Good Python skills with practical experience in analytics and modelling (must-have)
• Experience developing or improving risk frameworks, scoring models, or decision strategies
• Strong understanding of lending economics, portfolio management, and collections
• English level B2+
