Job Title: General Ledger Specialist

Description:

We are looking for a motivated junior accountant to join our GeneralLedger team. In this role, you will support senior colleagues andcollaborate closely with our international client, as well as withother internal departments, including AP, AR, Statutory Reporting andTax. Your responsibilities will include preparing general ledgerentries, performing account reconciliations and supporting month-endclose activities across various accounting areas.

This position offers excellent learning opportunities and hands-onexperience in a multinational environment.

We will trust you to:

• Booking accruals, bank transactions, and other GL entries
• Performing general reconciliation processes for assigned entities
• Checking account balances and investigating variances
• Collaborating with colleagues from AR, AP, Statutory Reporting, Tax departments
• Communicating with client representatives to resolve accounting questions

Requirements:

• 0−2 years of experience in accounting
• Good command of English (B2+ or higher)
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Customer-oriented and a strong team player
• Proactive and able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or another relevant discipline
• Good Excel skills
• Familiarity with the SAP FI module (both ERP and S/4HANA) is an advantage
