Location: Remote

Terms: Full-time

Schedule: 7 am — 5 pm Chicago time (15:00—1:00 Kyiv time)

About the Role We are looking for a PTI Specialist to help keep our trucks and trailers safe, compliant, and ready for the road. In this role, you will review driver pre-trip inspections, check photos and GPS data, communicate with drivers, track vehicle issues, and help prevent equipment from going Out of Service (OOS).

Key Responsibilities

• Review pre-trip inspection reports and photos submitted by drivers.
• Identify safety or maintenance issues and follow up as needed.
• Communicate daily with drivers, especially new hires, to ensure inspection compliance.
• Monitor truck and trailer status using GPS and fleet management systems.
• Work with the maintenance team to prevent breakdowns and service interruptions.
• Prepare daily reports on inspections, vehicle issues, and corrective actions.
• Track and document compliance with DOT and company safety standards.
• Report missed inspections and related charges to the Accounting Department and Fleet Manager.

Qualifications

• Experience in trucking, logistics, fleet management, or a related field is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of DOT regulations, vehicle maintenance, and safety compliance.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable using GPS tracking systems, fleet software, and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
• Detail-oriented with the ability to review reports and inspection photos accurately.
• Able to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively.
• Ability to remain calm and organized in a fast-paced environment.
