Type of Appointment: Fixed term contract till 11.12.2026 with the possibility of extention

Salary: 77 400 UAH gross / 59 598 UAH

Since the Russian invasion of 24th February, Ukraine has been subjected to heavy artillery bombardment, missiles, and air strikes, as well as the use of landmines and cluster munitions. MAG seeks to save lives and build safer futures by providing risk education to communities, to help them stay safe. MAG is also in the process of seeking accreditation to start conducting explosive ordnance disposal and demining activities in Ukraine, to save the lives of people affected by the conflict.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

• Ensures the uninterrupted operation of the computer system and computer networks of the enterprise (local (LAN) and global (WAN)) computer networks, administration of system and network software.
• Diagnose problems with hardware and software, replace defective components.
• Ensures acceptance, installation and testing of hardware, software and communication objects of the enterprise network infrastructure.
• Performs operations to ensure the reliability of data storage and restore the proper functioning of the system and data in the event of failures and other serious disruptions in the computer system, including ensuring timely copying and backup of data.
• Organizes and controls the access of employees of the enterprise to the local and global networks in accordance with their competence, authority and qualifications.
• Install system-wide software, as well as application programs in accordance with the specialization of the enterprise’s employees.
• Registers users of the computer system, assigns them identifiers and passwords, creates user accounts. Ensures user access is removed when no longer needed.
• Maintains a log of system information and other technical documentation.
• Ensures security when working in a computer network and related networks.
• Ensures integration of software on file servers, database management system servers and workstations. employees, makes entries in labour books about incentives and rewards of employees.

Detailed Responsibilities

About you:

• Second (master's) level of higher education in the relevant field of study (field of knowledge).
• At least 1 year of work experience as a system administrator, computer systems engineer, senior software engineer.
• Ability to use and administer Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and professional software.
• Ability to use and administer network devices such as wireless access points & firewalls.
• Strong organizational and record keeping skills.
• Knowledge of fundamentals of programming in major programming languages
• Language requirements — ability to communicate in English at a basic level and a desire to continue to learn the language. Our Benefits:
