PERSONAL STATEMENT
My name is Mariia and I’m a 1st year student in Kyiv-Mohyla Academy. I have
strong passion to writing and communication and my previous volunteering experience
helped me to understand it. A few of my strongest skills are social media writing,
content planning and SEO optimisation. I am confident that my creativity, research
abilities, and willingness to learn will make me a valuable asset to your copywriting
team.

VOLUNTEERING EXPERIENCE
1. Cofounder of the project “Tangle of skills”
Responsibilities: managing the work of the social media department, organising
teambuilding process, hiring new people.
Achievements: 1000 applications milestone in 5 months, addition of 2 new
people to the social media department.
2. Copywriter in the project “Tangle of skills”
Responsibilities: creating a content plan monthly, writing posts for the
Instagram, editing all materials on the site, google forms for registration etc.
Achievements: regular publications, redesign of site and google forms.
3. Tutor of Ukrainian language
Responsibilities: creating plan for the year, creating presentations, preparing
homework and check it regularly, providing student with feedback on each homework
and if needed giving additional explanations, hosting lessons twice a week and if
problems with electricity appears providing student with the alternative form of lesson.
Achievements: my student reached desired level of knowledge.
4. Copywriter and editor at the student organization of NaUKMA “GeekLab”
Responsibilities: edit articles, write articles, create posts for Telegram.
Achievements: 9 posts in the spam of 7 months.
 EDUCATION
Currently studying international relations in National University “Kyiv-Mohyla
Academy”.

SKILLS
Hard: Zendesk, Moodle, Canva, Google ecosystem, MS Office.
Soft: working in team, solving problems in short and long term, time
management, fluency in Ukrainian (native language) and English (Upper-
Intermediate), hosting polls and interviews, reading and analysing big amount of data,
doing researches, writing short and eye-catching stories as well as long and
informative.
