•Development of recommendations on how to optimize business processes related to the key components of the supply chain for HIV and TB commodities, COVID-19 and routine vaccines including but not limited to the improvement of supply chain system in close collaboration with the Center for Public Health of the Ministry of Health (CPH), Ministry of Health of Ukraine (MOH), and "Medical Procurement of Ukraine" (MPU).
•Preparation of regular analytical materials related to the inventory management and forecasting, including but not limited to the analysis of supply chain related risks for COVID-19, routine vaccines, and ARV goods (stock outs, overstock, expirations) and potential strategies for their mitigation.
•Providing support for MPU with the development of an electronic tool for quantification and forecasting of commodities and its integration with other electronic systems and tools in Ukraine.
•Providing technical assistance to the MOH and CPH in distribution of vaccines from national to regional level including assisting in preparation of distribution plans, communication with logistics vendors and regional authorities.
•Participating in monitoring and evaluation exercises, program reviews with governments (MOH, CPH, MPU) and other counterparts (UNICEF, WHO, World Bank, GAVI/Covax etc) and preparing minutes/reports on results for follow up action.
•Providing technical assistance to the MOH, CPH, regional health administrations and healthcare facilities to properly forecast State financed and donor-funded commodities.
•Providing technical support for the development and implementation of supply chain policies and procedures for adequate medicine quantification, procurement, warehousing, inventory management, ordering and distribution to support the strengthening of supply management systems in Ukraine.
•Supporting supply chain capacity-building efforts that systems and processes are in place to assure the continuous availability and access to ARVs, TB therapy, COVID-19, routine vaccines, and other medicines.
•Participating in the development of project annual implementation plans as they relate to the supply chain workstream.
•Drafting or contributing to, as agreed with the Deputy Chief of Party (DCOP), technical reports, lessons learned, case studies or other documents in the area of vaccine supply chain.
