Personal Statement:
As a Politics, History, and Social Sciences student at the Open University and a Ukrainian national now living in the UK, I am passionate about understanding how political systems evolve and influence our societies. My studies have equipped me with strong critical thinking, research, and communication skills, which I am eager to apply in a professional setting.
While I have not yet held formal employment, I have actively developed my knowledge through academic projects, independent study, and engagement with psychological and historical lectures. I am now seeking entry-level opportunities in political research, public service, or administrative support where I can contribute meaningfully, gain hands-on experience, and support my ongoing education.
Outside of academics, I enjoy cooking, skiing, attending the gym, and exploring how human psychology intersects with politics and history—interests that help me stay curious, self-disciplined, and resilient.

Work Experience:
Self Employed Business manager – Sweet Ukraine Handmade Ceramic Gifts from 2019 to present:
Co-manage a small, independent business specializing in handmade ceramic novelty gifts, overseeing all aspects of design, production, and customer engagement. As co-owner, I am actively involved in strategic decision-making, creative development, and business operations. My primary responsibility is leading the sales and marketing side of the business, with a strong focus on building brand visibility and driving online sales through digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and grow social media presence (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok), developing engaging content to showcase products and attract customers
• Handle online sales through e-commerce platforms and direct messaging channels, responding to customer enquiries and processing orders
