Dear Hiring Team,

I am writing to express my interest in the Community Protection Coordinator position with
Rokada. With more than five years of experience in protection programming in Ukraine, I
bring strong expertise in community-based protection, partner coordination, and needs-
driven humanitarian responses.

In my recent role as Protection Coordinator with HIAS, I developed and implemented
protection strategies across GBV, Child Protection, and General Protection sectors, while
supervising a multisectoral team and supporting over 20 local partner organizations,
including grassroots and women-led groups. My work focused on inclusive, community-
based approaches, strengthening case management systems, and ensuring that
protection principles were applied in day-to-day programming rather than remaining only
at policy level.

Previously, as Deputy Protection Coordinator and Protection Supervisor with Première
Urgence Internationale, I led field assessments, developed protection tools and SOPs,
conducted monitoring visits, and supported staff capacity-building through trainings and
mentoring. I also contributed to proposal development, coordination with humanitarian
actors, and mainstreaming protection across sectors.

Throughout my career, I have worked closely with communities, social workers, and local
organizations, conducting needs assessments, supporting referrals, and facilitating
psychosocial and protection activities. I am committed to participatory approaches that
respect community voices while maintaining professional standards, accountability, and
safeguarding principles.

Rokada’s community-focused work and strong values-based approach resonate with my
own professional motivation. I would be honored to contribute my experience in
coordination, community engagement, and protection programming to support vulnerable
people at the community level.
