Dear Hiring Manager

My name is Glen Broughman and I am currently looking to relocate to the area and would like to introduce myself to your company.

I was up till recently the interim IT Manager for HealthSource Saginaw. While in this position I garnered extensive experience in project management, desktop/software support, network management, server administration and many other duties. I have 12 years of experience in the field and take great pride in my work ethic and ability to get results.

As the primary member of a two man IT Department, I personally oversaw and maintained over 15 servers, 1 (I5) AS/400, 150 desktops, 300+ end users, daily problems and concerns with passwords and user management, 1 Exchange server, SQL Server, the Honeywell Security, Simplex Fire, Trane HVAC and Executone and Nurse Call Systems.

I have a deep understanding of the following Operating systems such as Windows NT/2000/2003, Novell Netware/Linux/OS400 while on the networking side I have experience with Cisco routers and switches, HP and Dell Switches, Watchguard, Sonic wall and Juniper Firewalls, Barracuda, Blue Coat and Symantec Security appliances and Unitrends Back Up systems.

I have worked with many technologies during this time frame and have gained much experience in the following areas:

•Effectively troubleshoot software & hardware
•Strong leadership, client & team building skills
•System implementation, migration and deployment utilizing industry best practices and adhering to internal corporate policy compliance
•Liaise and negotiate with vendors & suppliers
•Full system & desktop support for end users
•Adherence to Federal, State, HIPAA & JACO regulations
•Negotiate solid SLA’s, project contracts & price reductions
•Large scale IT projects, change management, infrastructure & planning
•Delivery of Budgets - project, capital & operating for expense reductions
