Summary
I'm a Java backend developer with over 7 years of experience in Spring Boot, PostgreSQL,
Hibernate, Docker, and Kubernetes. Over the past several months, I've been actively working with
Python — maintaining and extending a backend service, which gave me practical experience with
the language and its ecosystem.
I'm looking to expand beyond Java and grow as an engineer. Python's role in backend
development, automation, and AI/ML is something I find genuinely compelling — and I want to
build serious expertise there without losing my backend fundamentals.
Why Python
The decision isn't about leaving Java behind — it's about becoming a stronger engineer. Python
opens doors to areas I'm excited about: data pipelines, AI/ML integration, and modern backend
services. I want to be the kind of developer who can work across stacks and bring backend
discipline to whatever I build.
Technical background
● Languages: Python, SQL, JavaScript

● Databases: PostgreSQL, Oracle, MS SQL, Redis, Cassandra (NoSQL)

implementing RESTful APIs with PostgreSQL as the primary database and Redis for caching

● Python — Extended existing Python backend services, working with Django ORM, writing business
logic and data access layers following SOLID principles.
● REST API, WebSockets
Integration with backend services via REST APIs for CRUD operations and use of
WebSockets for real-time updates.
