Python Backend Developer - October 2025 - present
E-COMMERCE & LOGISTICS PLATFORM

Key responsibilities:
- Developing and maintaining REST APIs using FastAPI.
- Implementing new features and supporting existing services.
- Working with PostgreSQL and SQLAlchemy, writing and optimizing SQL queries.
- Using Redis for caching and storing temporary data.
- Integrating RabbitMQ for asynchronous email notifications and report generation without blocking the main API thread.
- Containerizing services using Docker and Docker Compose.
- Configuring unit tests to run on SQLite to speed up the test suite in CI/CD.
Achievements:
- Developed and refined more than 20 REST API endpoints for internal and client-facing services.
- Optimized several SQL queries, reducing response time for certain endpoints from roughly 300-350 ms to 150-180 ms.
- Implemented Redis caching for frequently accessed data, significantly reducing the number of queries to PostgreSQL.
- Contributed to improving the application deployment process using Docker Compose, reducing local environment setup
time from 15-20 minutes to 8-10 minutes.
