EY Audit Challenge: Colt CZ Group

• Led a team of 3 to 4th place out of 12 in audit case on Colt CZ Group.
• Analysed the company's financial statements across profitability (margin trends), liquidity (current/quick ratios), and leverage (debt-to-equity) to assess its overall financial health after recent horizontal acquisition.
• Flagged the key risks emerging from that analysis and presented the team's conclusions to an EY jury.
Projects
Bachelor's thesis: EU–Switzerland bilateral agreements (focus on electricity agreement):

• Conducted independent quantitative research into the economic consequences of Switzerland's exclusion from the EU internal electricity market.
• Sourced and cleaned seven years of hourly cross-border wholesale electricity prices for Switzerland and its neighbouring markets.
• Built a machine learning model, grounded in the academic literature, to estimate the price convergence Switzerland would see under full market integration.
E-commerce Sales Analytics (Power BI):

• Cut a recurring reporting task from ~20 hours of manual work to 1–2 hours by replacing spreadsheet pulls with an automated Power BI pipeline.
• Created DAX measures (revenue, order volume, average order value) powering refreshable, self-serve dashboards.
• Designed a star-schema data model and a repeatable Power Query (M) transform layer to ingest and clean raw multi-table data.
Peer Mentor (student body)

• Tutored and mentored up to 10 fellow students through their university studies, tutoring across quantitative subjects including econometrics, finance, Excel and mathematics.
• For the English exam, also built an interactive web app to support their practice, all 7 who prepared with me passed.
