WHY DO I WANT TO APPLY FOR THIS JOB

I would like to apply for this role because it combines my passion for working with children and the
experience I have gained through rhythmic gymnastics. I have been a rhythmic gymnast since I was
six years old, and over the years I have attended many training camps with my coach. Since the war
in Ukraine began, I have taken on more responsibilities at these camps, especially from the age of
14. I have helped my coach with organisation, decision-making, and supporting the training process.
My responsibilities included organising groups of children, helping them get ready for activities,
giving them tours around the camp, showing them where everything was, and assisting during team
training sessions.
When our camps were short on animators, I also took full responsibility for organising entertainment, including
planning and running discos and activities for the children. I made sure that both younger and older children
were engaged by adapting activities to suit their different interests and needs, helping create a fun, inclusive, and
enjoyable atmosphere for everyone. Alongside this, I took on a caring role, looking after the children throughout
the camp and making sure they felt safe, supported, and included. Many of the children came to me with their
questions or concerns, and I enjoyed helping them solve problems and feel comfortable away from home. These
experiences have strengthened my communication, leadership, organisation, and teamwork skills, and I am
confident working with children of different ages. I would love the opportunity to bring this enthusiasm,
responsibility, and positive energy to your team.
