Work Experience:

October 2013 – Present – The position of Automechanic (Private Businessman).
Main activities and responsibilities:
Use, boring and honing cylinders to give them a cylindrical shape;
Restoring the crankshaft bed (in case of damage) to the main bearing caps;
Cracks in the cylinder block, alignment of the mating surface (plane with cylinder head) by milling or grinding;
Repair of the crankshaft by grinding and subsequent polishing of the connecting rod and nuts to the repair diameters;
Repair of a head of the block of cylinders.

November 2002 – September 2013 – The position of Automechanic for repair of diesel engines at the company "Smiyan and K"", Kyiv, Ukraine.
Main activities and responsibilities:
Diagnosis and preventive inspection of vehicles, identification of defects;
Adjustment of valves (8 and 16 valves);
Replacement of an lining of an inlet and final collector;
Replacing the valve cover gasket (without removing the manifold);
Replacement cylinder head gasket (cylinder head) ;
Replacing piston rings, valve seals, hydraulic compensator;
Replacing oil seal for crankshaft and camshaft seal;
Replacement of timing chain with tensioner and restraints;
Replacing the pulley crankshaft, valves (inlet / outlet) and piston;
Sealing of cracks by welding or other repair technologies (if necessary);
Replacement or restoration of the valve guide sleeves (if necessary);
Replacement and (or) revision of the valve seat chamfers;
Alignment (milling or grinding) of the mating surface (in case of deformation of the cylinder head);
Replacement or restoration of valves;
Installation of new oil-removable caps (compulsory operation);
Replacement of a camshaft, pushers.

Skills:

Professional Skills:
16+ years of Mechanic Experience;
Knowledge of the rules for dismantling, defecting and repairing parts, assemblies, units and devices, safety rules;
Knowledge of the principles of operation of repaired equipment, ways to restore worn parts;
Knowledge of technical conditions for testing, adjustment and acceptance of units, mechanisms and equipment after repair;
Competent in the admission, landing and accuracy classes when installing engine parts;
Skills in the use of special tools and instrumentation during operation.

Computer skills:
Knowledge and ability to use various software programs including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, at proficient levels;
Experienced in photo and video editing software;
