My experience before the last 5 years, Madrid (Research and Bioengineering)

Before I started doing research into my Ph.D. program and doing private consulting jobs for private companies, I focused for the time period from July 2010 to February 2012 on my masters. Doing research in my thesis in: “Performing an artifact map on the ECG signal in a simultaneous recording EEG-fMRI.” For my masters, I was selected as a scholar for the Carolina Foundation Scholarship program. During this period I also did consult work with university research groups, programming in languages like Matlab, C++, Python, Scala, and Java.
Between February 2009 and July 2010 I worked for Meditron C.A.’s Radiotherapy Department as a Service Engineer. I was in charge of performing installation, corrective and preventive maintenance on electronic and mechanical and software platforms, where most of the systems were implemented on a Unix platform. As well as delivering and scheduling training classes for hospital personnel.
