I control customer orders accounts for the prevention and detection of possible fraud. Responsible for more involved research and analysis of account activity to assess levels of risk and fraud type.
Working within the parameters of department guidelines while making decisions on risky transactions at a rate consistent with established department guidelines. Confidentiality of customer information is required, and decisions have a monetary impact to QRG and the customer. Attention to detail and accuracy are critical so legitimate customers are not impacted by the effort to prevent fraud. Assesses the level of risk and makes decisions which directly impact the customer experience and risk to the company. Additionally, i have the authority to close customer accounts and flag addresses, phone numbers, credit card numbers, IP addresses etc. to ensure any future orders placed with the same characteristics are stopped.
