I am proficient in 3ds Max with the Corona 9 render engine, using it for the full cycle of architectural visualization – from initial scene setup to the final photorealistic render. In my work, I pay great attention to scene cleanliness: I optimize the geometry and organize object structures correctly, which is critical for realistic light and material behavior. I set up cameras according to photographic principles – selecting focal length, perspective, camera height, and depth of field so that each frame looks natural and aesthetically pleasing, like an interior or architectural photograph.
For lighting, I use Corona Light and Corona Sun & Sky, combining natural and artificial light to create the right mood for the scene. I work carefully with exposure, contrast, and light balance, and I also apply LUTs to achieve a cohesive color tone in the render. For me, lighting is not just a technical step but a key artistic tool that shapes the space’s emotion and highlights its architecture.
I create materials with an emphasis on physical correctness and realistic surface behavior: I work with reflections, roughness, bump, and normal maps so that wood, stone, metal, or fabric looks alive and believable. I pay special attention to small details and wear, which make the scene convincing and “not too perfect,” just as in real life.
For post-processing, I actively use Adobe Photoshop, where I perform final color correction, adjust contrast, white balance, highlights and shadows, as well as the overall atmosphere and depth of the image. Using masks and layers, I subtly emphasize accents, add light transitions, and apply the final “photo look” that makes the render appear as a finished commercial product.
I also use third-party plugins and auxiliary tools for 3ds Max, specifically for managing cameras, materials, scenes, proxies, and model libraries. This allows me to significantly optimize the workflow, keep scenes organized, and work faster and more efficiently, so I can focus on creative and conceptual solutions.

I have been a member of the BEST Lviv volunteer organization (Board of European Students of Technology) at Lviv Polytechnic for 2 years. BEST Lviv (founded in 2002) brings together students, universities, and companies around educational and technological projects. Thanks to this work, I have developed effective communication skills and value the power of teamwork under the principle “strength in diversity”. Experience with BEST has helped me interact better with clients and colleagues in a professional environment.
This experience has given me a deep understanding of teamwork in an environment with different roles, personalities, and approaches to problem-solving. I have learned to communicate effectively, assert my position respectfully, listen to others’ opinions, and find common solutions. BEST taught me to value the principle “Strength in Diversity” and to see synergy in a team rather than competition. This directly influences my work with clients and colleagues.
