Procurement Manager

We are looking for an experienced Procurement Manager (Head of Procurement) to join our client, which is a leading international company specializing in integrated supply chain solutions for the food industry.

The company provides end-to-end supply chain services for retail, quick-service restaurants (QSR), and food service businesses, partnering with both global brands and regional market leaders.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and implement local procurement strategies to ensure efficient and cost-effective sourcing of goods and services required for business operations.
• Lead and develop the Procurement Department, fostering a culture of collaboration, transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Optimize procurement processes and support the implementation of new organizational structures aligned with global procurement strategies and objectives.
• Oversee the full procurement cycle, including supplier sourcing, quotation requests, negotiations, order placement, and delivery coordination.
• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders across multiple departments.
• Understand business needs and procurement priorities to provide effective and commercially sound solutions.
• Manage supplier performance to ensure compliance with quality standards, delivery timelines, and contractual obligations.
• Conduct risk assessments related to contracts, suppliers, and procurement activities.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement innovative procurement practices.
• Monitor inventory and stock levels to ensure uninterrupted operational support.
• Collaborate closely with international teams to exchange best practices and drive innovation within procurement operations.
• Stay informed about market trends, supplier developments, and industry dynamics to support strategic decision-making.
• Participate in and lead local and international procurement projects.

REQUIREMENTS

• Higher education degree.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven experience in supplier management, contract negotiations, and procurement operations.
• Experience in inventory and stock management.
• Project management and change management experience.
• Fluent English and native Ukrainian proficiency.
• Customer-oriented and results-driven mindset.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
