Middle QA Automation Tester

Our customer a leading company that provides a unified solution for managing multiple Identity & Access Management (IAM) systems is seeking a Middle QA Automation Tester to join our growing team.

We are looking for an experienced QA Automation Tester to join our team and play a key role in ensuring the quality, stability, and performance of our applications. You will be responsible for building and maintaining automated testing frameworks, developing test scripts, and integrating them into our CI/CD pipelines. This role requires a deep understanding of API testing, performance analysis, and modern development environments.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for APIs and web applications.
• Create and manage API test cases using Postman and Newman.
• Implement API testing with Supertest (preferred).
• Validate API functionality using Swagger/OpenAPI specifications.
• Develop and maintain UI test automation using Selenium or Cypress.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab, CircleCI).
• Perform performance testing using Locust to identify system bottlenecks and optimize performance.
• Collaborate closely with developers and stakeholders to detect and resolve issues early in the development cycle.
• Utilize Docker for testing in containerized environments (a plus).
• Continuously improve and scale automation frameworks to ensure test coverage and maintainability.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in QA automation for APIs and web-based applications.
• 2+ years of experience in QA automation for APIs and web applications.
• Strong hands-on expertise with Postman and Newman for API testing.
• Familiarity with Supertest (a plus).
• Experience validating API documentation using Swagger/OpenAPI.
• Proficiency in UI test automation with tools like Selenium or Cypress.
• Experience integrating automation into CI/CD workflows (GitLab, CircleCI).
• Hands-on experience with Locust or similar tools for performance testing.
• Understanding of containerized application testing, preferably with Docker.
• Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.
• Strong ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
• English Upper-intermediate.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with other performance testing tools like JMeter.
• Exposure to cloud-based testing environments.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python.
