Helpdesk support IT manager

Job context

Responsible for IT Infrastructure and Support for Ukraine (mainly), Providing technology solutions to maintain and improve the operations together with the Europe IT Head.

Main tasks and responsibilities

• Prepare the company’s systems plan, which defines the department’s objectives, and handles all of the IT projects related to infrastructures that respond to business needs.
• Organize the IT department, dealing with both human and material resources, fundamentally hardware, and communications.
• Collaborate in the preparation of the yearly budget to ensure the correct resource allocation for the replacement of legacy systems, support the requirements of the operations and provide upgrades to current solutions regarding the latest technologies available.
• Respond to inquiries from clients and help them resolve and hardware or software problems.
• To arrange for external technical support where problems cannot be resolved in house.
• Ensure IT services are available to users whenever required
• Maintain a log of any software or hardware issues detected and manage KPI’s for the IT services delivered in Europe (efficiencies availability and quality).
• Monitor all IT services and manage warnings and system failures.
• Administrate telephony contracts (Land lines and Mobile)

Environment

Office Based — Ukraine, Cherkasy.

No remote work.

Occasional Travel to various locations

Requirements

• Previous Helpdesk (telephone support) experience.
• Excellent telephone manner.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft based operating systems with emphasis on Windows 10
• Experience with using and troubleshooting Outlook 2016 within a network environment (permissions, calendar sharing, delegation)
