English language Interpreter

Linguists Connect Co. is looking for the English-Ukrainian/Russian linguists to work on a full-time basis and on-call in Odesa.

JOB DUTIES

• Prepare translations of military, medical and legal documents, lesson plans, training materials, brochures, official documents, speeches, and correspondence into the target language
• Provide interpretation support at military training events, during meetings with Ukrainian dignitaries, etc.
• Facilitate communication between two parties that do not speak a similar language
• Mediate discussions between the speaker and the audience

REQUIREMENTS

• Fluency in spoken and written English and Ukrainian/Russian languages
• Diploma/Certificate in Linguistics (preferably)
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint
• Experience in translation, consecutive interpretation
• Responsibility, integrity, and willingness to work
• Basic knowledge of military terminology will be a plus
