SALES MANAGER

International mining company focused on the exploration and development of it projects for Battery industry is looking for a highly qualified and talented professional to join its team in the Ukraine.

About the role

The Sales manager shall report to CEO and Head of Sales and shall be responsible for maintaining assigned customer accounts, ongoing customer support, working cross-functionally within the organization, all while providing continuous growth by developing customer relationships and new opportunities. The ideal candidate will have exceptional people skills, superior verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to negotiate mutually beneficial supply agreements.

Responsibilities

  • Promote culture of safety or sustainability
  • Maintain assigned key accounts and provide ongoing customer support
  • Identify new business leads and contact prospective customers to develop potential supply relationships
  • Prepare, participate in, and submit bids and RFP documents
  • Negotiate long-term mutually beneficial supply agreements
  • Work in collaboration with operations and logistics Teams to ensure an uninterrupted supply of our critical products to meet customer’s individualized needs
  • Manage customer inquiries and find innovative solutions for complex problems
  • Market company products to current marketplace, and participate in development of new markets in collaboration with the product development team

What you will bring

  • BS degree in Business/Economics, Marketing, Engineering, or other science related discipline preferred
  • Sales and marketing experience with industrial minerals and aggregates, or been responsible for the purchase or these market consumables
  • Experience working with industrial, mining, oil&gas, steel making, markets
  • In-depth knowledge of customer relationship management strategies
  • Working knowledge of database systems and IT software tools
  • Ability to travel to customer locations within assigned geography
