Опис вакансії
DIGAS is a global trailblazer in instant decarbonization solutions for the HDV sector. The company enables the use of clean burning and renewable energy — Hydrogen as the propulsion allowing for a rapid and complete transition of the HDV sector to renewable energy.
The company has deployed the first in the EU certified retrofitted diesel locomotives on gaseous fuel bringing the retrofit technology to the state of regulatory approved, widely available and practical solution for locomotive operators to comply with the stringent emission and CO2 footprint standards.
DIGAS is searching for a Procurement Manager.
This position will be accountable for building the procurement/supply chain function to bring our product through development into commercialization.
Position scope and responsibilities:
- Responsible for entire Procurement, Materials & Contracts operations, Strategic sourcing plan, Contract Management & Outsourced manufacturing
- Developing and implementing purchasing and contract management policies and procedures
- Develop and lead agile RFx process in collaboration with internal stakeholders, draft, initiate and manage end-to-end RFx.
- Prepare cost estimate in the early design stage
- Understand the project requirements and interpret design or engineering drawings (by co-working with Technical team) and prepare tender documents, B.O.Q, material lists and specifications
- Develop and maintain key relationships with suppliers to secure the best pricing and terms for materials, components and services
- Work with the Finance team to monitor spending on various purchases
- Determine system cost and lead ongoing cost down activity to meet and exceed product cost targets
- BOM development and daily support
- Maintain inventories of raw materials, parts, and supplies and maintains records
- Maintain budgetary control, order processing, invoice entry, and invoicing functions
Requirements and skills:
- Fluent English
- Experience in a similar role
- Proficient with Supply Chain procedures and stock planning or ready for intensive learning
- Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & Outlook)
- Excellent communication skills — written and verbal; internally, externally, and internationally
- Commercial awareness / data analysis
- Motivated to strive and succeed in a start-up environment
- High work discipline
