Our client, an international FMCG company in the field of hygiene and health, is looking for a Brand Manager (Local Marketing / Trade marketing manager)

Overview:

As a Brand Manager in the company you will be in close interaction with the Sales teams, Global Business Unit teams, Logistics and Finance Departments, as well as with external research and advertising agencies and producers.

In general, the person assigned to this role ensures the execution of all planned marketing activities on the region East — with focus Ukraine, Moldova, Armenia, Georgia markets, with strong ATL and in-store focus. There will be strong collaboration with the Marketing Team which is located in the headquarters in Sofia, Bulgaria.

Main responsibilities:

  • Implementing Brand Marketing plans in line with the agreed Brand strategy
  • Building, executing and evaluating Brand campaigns for the markets
  • Monitoring and analyzing the respective categories, competitors, consumer attitudes and habits with strong focus on reviewing Retail Audit reports
  • Leading projects with third parties (BTL agencies, production studios, printing houses, etc.)
  • Participating in the creation of a Brand-specific media strategy for the local market in close collaboration with the advertising/media agency
  • Working with different media channels and adapting TV spots
  • Implementing digital strategy for the brands — media planning, influence marketing
  • Developing briefs, presentations, and project terms of reference for assigning to external agencies
  • Responsible for the market implementations in Ukraine, Moldova, Armenia, Georgia and regular visits in the said markets

Requirements:

  • Preferably have a university degree in Economics, Marketing, Brand Management, or similar discipline related to Marketing
  • Preferably have a 2+ years of relevant FMCG experience in Marketing / Brand Manager/ Sale)
  • English proficiency — both written and spoken (Upper-Intermediate)
  • Excellent MS Office skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Good knowledge of brand marketing and trade marketing basic principles
  • Good knowledge of the market, consumer and shopper trends
  • Experience in presenting and argumentation of ideas, strategy, and concepts
  • Driver’s license
