Quality assurance engineer, BA

Middle QA/BA Specialist (Logistics Project — Automotive Industry) Location: Remote (CET Time zone) Job Type: Full-time, Long-term

We are looking for a middle QA/BA Specialist to join a long-term logistics project in the automotive domain. The role is primarily focused on Quality Assurance, with a secondary involvement in Business Analysis. You’ll work closely with developers and stakeholders to ensure product quality and clarity of requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Manual testing of web and API components
• Writing and executing test cases
• Reporting and verifying bugs
• Supporting requirement analysis and documentation
• Participating in Agile ceremonies
• Assisting in UAT and release preparation

Requirements:

• 4+ years in QA, including test design and execution
• 3+ years in BA or experience working with requirements and stakeholders
• Strong experience with tools like Jira, TestRail, Postman
• Understanding of API testing, SQL, and Agile processes
• Excellent communication skills in English (upper-intermediate+)

Tools & Tech:

• Test management: Jira Xray
• Bug tracking: Jira
• API testing: Postman, Swagger
• Docs: Confluence, Google Docs
• Basic SQL
• Git, automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress)

Nice to Have:

• Experience in logistics or automotive
• Familiarity with test automation frameworks
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and tools like SonarQube
