Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst (Remote — Ukraine)

Job Purpose

The FP&A Analyst will support the global finance team by developing financial models, performing analysis, and providing actionable insights to senior leadership. The role requires strong analytical skills, financial reporting expertise, and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional and distributed teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, track, and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) across global entities.
  • Build and maintain financial models for forecasting, budgeting, and scenario planning.
  • Perform monthly variance analysis and provide actionable insights.
  • Prepare data-driven reports and dashboards for management decision-making.
  • Build Power BI reports or advanced Excel dashboards to visualize business performance.
  • Partner with finance, sales, and operations teams to identify opportunities, challenge assumptions, and support strategic decisions.
  • Take full ownership of recurring FP&A processes and proactively drive projects forward.
  • Identify trends, risks, and opportunities using financial, operational, and commercial data.
  • Present findings to senior stakeholders clearly and effectively.

Requirements

  • Current residence in Ukraine.
  • 3+ years of experience in FP&A, Business Analysis, or Financial Reporting.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to solve problems with incomplete data.
  • Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, Power Query, complex formulas).
  • Experience with Power BI or other BI tools — advantage.
  • Solid understanding of financial statements, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • High level of ownership and proactivity.
  • Strong communication skills in English (written and spoken).
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional and distributed teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related field.
  • Experience supporting senior leadership with insights and presentations.
  • Background in multinational organizations or fast-paced companies.
  • Experience building financial models from scratch.

Preferred / Advantageous Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite). Experience working with remote or multicultural teams.
