Position: Head of International Business Development & Export

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for market expansion in Europe and the Southeast Asia region, focusing on growth through partnerships;
  • Lead the entry and development of international markets for the company’s portfolio, including Rx and hospital products;
  • Manage and grow relationships with international commercial partners and distributors; oversee contract negotiations, tender processes, and public procurement programs;
  • Ensure the achievement of sales targets, profitability, and margin goals across key export markets;
  • Oversee compliance with international regulatory requirements, including certifications, quality standards, and customs regulations;
  • Coordinate cross-functionally with internal teams (Production, Quality, R&D, Supply Chain) to ensure a seamless supply chain and on-time market delivery;
  • Participate in or build an international business team as required by the growth of the global portfolio;
  • Represent the company at international trade fairs, business forums, and partner meetings, acting as a brand ambassador.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of experience in a senior export or international business development role in the pharmaceutical industry, preferably in Rx/hospital segments;
  • Proven experience in developing distribution networks, negotiating with international partners, and managing regional profitability;
  • Solid understanding of export logistics, customs clearance, and international certifications;
  • Strong strategic and analytical thinking, with a results-oriented and proactive mindset;
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills; fluent English (Upper-Intermediate or higher) is a must; other languages are a plus;
  • Willingness to travel to key markets across Europe and Southeast Asia.
