Technical Operations Manager (Computer Networks, Telecommunications)

BusinessCom Networks is a small, well-established company providing satellite telecommunication services to enterprise and government customers worldwide for more than 20 years.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and talented individual to join our team in a remote SATCOM Technical Operations Manager role. Responsibilities include commissioning satellite links, providing technical support, managing projects and coordinating vendors. Your responsibilities are:

• Provide technical support to our customers and partners, investigating, troubleshooting and resolving network and user terminal incidents
• Develop trusted technical advisor relationships with key accounts and stakeholders: understand customer’s requirements for satellite connectivity; forecast and track key account metrics; prepare reports on account status; assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed
• Coordinate technical communication between suppliers, vendors, network service providers and field engineering partners, participating in equipment logistics, installation and maintenance
