Senior Full-Stack Developer

About the Role

We’re looking for a detail-oriented, experienced full stack engineer who can take ownership of both backend and frontend components and application development. You’ll be instrumental in building and maintaining services using Node.js, Express, Boostrap, and various JS libraries. You should have a strong grasp of full-stack JavaScript development experience and be comfortable with that ecosystem. This is an in-person role in Kyiv. More details in messages.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, consume and maintain scalable RESTful APIs using Node.js and Express
• Develop dynamic and responsive frontend interfaces using technologies like CSS, HTML, JS and JS frameworks, Bootstrap, and WebSockets.
• Ensure cross-browser, cross-device, and viewport compatibility
• Write clean, testable, maintainable, and well-documented code following industry best practices
• Debug production issues and implement long-term fixes
• Work with engineers and designers of all skill levels to develop an exceptional product

Requirements

• 4−6+ years of full stack development experience
• Strong experience in Node.js, Express, and building RESTFul APIs
• Solid front end skills in libraries like React, Bootstrap, jQuery, etc
• Proficiency with databases
• Experience testing across the entire stack
• Strong communication skills
• Understanding of security best practices

Nice to Have

• Experience in a startup environment
• Familiarity with both relational and NoSQL databases
• Exposure to modern JS features and functionality
• Experience with analytics tools and/or A/B testing (e.g., Hotjar, Fullstory, Google Analytics)
• Prior work on dashboards, messaging/chat systems, and/or scheduling is a plus
