Freight Dispatcher (Reefer)

We’re looking for a motivated and experienced Reefer Dispatcher who knows the ins and outs of U.S. trucking. If you’ve worked with temperature-controlled freight, understand time-sensitive deliveries, and can keep both brokers and drivers happy — this job is for you. You’ll be responsible for keeping reefer trucks loaded, compliant, and profitable, while maintaining smooth daily communication with everyone involved.

Responsibilities

• Book and coordinate refrigerated loads for a fleet of 5+ trucks, ensuring high weekly gross and minimal empty miles.

• Plan efficient routes while monitoring delivery schedules and temperature requirements.

• Stay in constant touch with drivers — support them, solve issues fast, and keep everything running smoothly.

• Build strong relationships with brokers, negotiate rates, and handle all load paperwork (BOL, POD, invoices).

• Track every shipment’s progress and temperature compliance through dispatch systems.

• Work closely with Safety and Fleet teams to avoid violations and keep operations efficient.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of proven experience dispatching trucks in the U.S. market — required.

• Deep knowledge of reefer operations, temperature control, and time-critical freight.

• Strong communication, negotiation, and multitasking skills.

• Familiarity with HOS rules and ability to manage schedules within compliance.

• English — Intermediate level or higher (both spoken and written).

• Organized, stress-resistant, and result-driven personality.

Working Hours

Monday-Friday, 1:00 PM — 11:00 PM EEST (6:00 AM — 4:00 PM CST) Work during U.S. business hours to stay fully connected with drivers and brokers.

Compensation

Commission-based: 1.75−2% of gross revenue (average $3,000-$6,000/month, depending on your performance).
