Associate (International Arbitration Practice)

We are looking for a talented and motivated Associate to join International Arbitration Practice team in Kyiv.

Key requirements:

• At least 3+ years of relevant experience with a Ukrainian or international law firm
• Degree in law; an LL.M from a foreign school would be an advantage
• Fluent in English and Ukrainian
• Strong analytical and research skills, legal writing proficiency
• Client-focused attitude, ability to effectively multitask
• Intention to build a legal career in the long run

Main responsibilities:

• Advising clients on various projects with focus on International Arbitration
• Acting for the clients in international arbitration (in Ukraine and abroad)
• Drafting and reviewing various legal documents
• Legal research on various topics
• Direct client communication, both local and international
• Participating in due diligence, external negotiations, client meetings, communication with government authorities (including communication during raids and inspections)
• Project management, time tracking and supervision/mentoring of junior lawyers
